Introduction
RTTC Hostel is a well maintained and cleanliest building
which has around 98 rooms distributed over G+2 floors. In has both Air Conditioned & Ordinary rooms, a very good vegetarian mess, 24 hrs backup power, RO treated water
solar water heating system, BB internet browsing, DTH television etc.,
Accomodation
Rooms in RTTC hostel are well maintained and can accomodate two
trainee officers in each room in both A/c and Non A/c blocks. All the rooms are well ventilated and furnished including wardrobe & reading arrangements etc.,. In the
senior officers block, individual officers are alloted with individual rooms which has split A/c, wireless telephone, attached bath with water heater etc., as additional

Facilities
RTTC hostel is supplied with 24 x 7 backup power through an automatic mains
failure logic E/A set to ensure round the clock power supply. A duty operator is stationed round the clock so that in case of any fault in the electrical services it is
recitified immediately. Drinking water is purified by a RO system and UV treated assuring 100% purity. Solar water heating facility is available for providing uninterrupted .

Recreation
Two television sets with DTH satelite receivers with subscription for almost all
important TV channels and DVD players are installed in the hostel premisis for the benefit of trainees. Computer(s) with broadband internet facility is also availble at the
hostel round the clock. Adquate STD telephone facility is also extended to the hostel and is operational 24 hrs. Both english and local language news papers and magazines are
also made available in the reading room daily
Mess
High quality vegetarian food is served for trainee officers in the mess. The menu
included morning tea, South Indian style breakfast, Lunch (rice and other typical South Indian side dishes), evening tea, Dinner with Capathi & Rice etc.,. Trainees are served with
protected RO & UV treated drinking water. Daily rates are at present around Rs 60/- excluding seat rent for rooms.
